Cayuga Woods

1 ] Keokuk Hunting Grounds
Woods are usually sparse and thin, but the Cayuga Woods are much different. These woods are seemingly enchanted and holding a dark secret. The Keokuk Hunting Grounds, Keoku meaning "Watchful Fox", is the densest part of the woods. This part of the forest is usually darker and cooler, with thin beams of light striking the ground here and there. Usually, this place is swarming with lesser beings compared to the wolves. Squirrels, rabbits, chipmunks, raccoons, etc. Because this part of the woods is so dense, it is rare to spot a deer, so the wolves of the Arcani are usually tall, lean, and quick. They are built to feed off of smaller animals. Not only is the Keokuk Grounds a perfect place for food, but also a pleasant place for solitude and thought.

2 ] Minnihaha Cove
Meaning "Curling Waterfall" in the wolves ancient language, Minnihaha Cove was created from the rushing water of the waterfall that tumbles down from the heavens. It eroded the insides of this beautiful yet ominous wonder, creating a smooth but somewhat damp cave. Minnihaha Cove is just off of the Atchafalaya River, but still within the territory of the Arcani pack. This is a romatic area, but also a dangerous one. Pups aren't allowed anywhere near this place for fear of them slipping and falling to their death, or being crushed by the tons of water that never stop falling. How far this cove goes into the side of the waterfall is unknown -- not many wolves have dared to explore it for fear of slipping into a dark and never ending sleep.

3 ] Chattanooge Den
The home of the Arcani pack, meaning "Eagle's Nest." Their homes are pleasantly tucked inside of the woods - in the area that has the least amount of trees. Tall, luscious, soft, thick green grass grows in this area of the forest because the sunlight's golden glow can practically touch the entire earthen floor. Because of the tall grasses that inhabit this part of the land, the soil is rich and easy to dig. Therefore, their dens are dug out around the roots of the trees and into large mounds. These wolves practically live in luxury.

Atchafaylaya River

4 ] Waupecony Flat Lands
Bordering the forest just outside of the Arcani territory, this land is barren and dry during the daytime when the earth is hotter than the sun. As dusk arrives and the land cools, however, thin foxes, coyotes, and lizards roam the deserted land-scape. This whisp of dead land rests between the Keokuk Hunting Grounds and the Chickamauga River.

5 ] Chickamauga River
This lethal river is thick in width and depth, with a raging current that takes no mercy on its victims. The Chickamauga River marks the border between the Arcani and Denali pack. This river is nearly impossible to pass in the spring or fall, when the water is at its highest point. In the summer the river may become shallow enough to wade through without harm, or in the winter it may freeze up enough to walk across. Presently, however, the river is strong and willing to pull you under. The question is, are you willing to test it?

6 ] Kokomo Forest Ruins
After a devastating forest fire that occured long ago, the forest that outskirts the Denali Hunting Grounds is charred to a point of no return. Each way you look, the place is dark and in ashes. Little to no wildlife goes through here without reason. Both wolf packs have heard of legends about the dead forest spirits that lurk in the shadows, however those fables are just tales told to scare the pups.

Passaic Valley

7 ] Tuxedo Hunting Grounds
Meaning "Place of Bears," these hunting grounds are flooded with more predators than prey. The wolves of the Denali pack have larger creatures to hunt, but they must be strong and determined to catch themselves a meal, or otherwise go hungry. Running through these parts, it is quite possible to come across mountain lions, grizzlies, black bears, bobcats, coyotes, or other animals of equal or greater strength than your own.

8 ] Arapaho Den
The den is where the members of the Denali pack take refuge from weather, predators, or other members of the pack. A suitably-sized cave that overlooks Willamette Springs is an excellent escape from the dangers that lurk in the forest. Here, memebers of the pack may rest, have meetings, raise young, and enjoy -occasional- solitude.

9 ] Willamette Springs
Willamette Springs is a beautiful haven for the wolves of the Denali pack to swim and cool off. At its base there is a waterfall that gushes from holes in the cliff, and even higher above rests the pack's den. Either side of this spring is surrounded by the Tuxedo Hunting Grounds, so it is not uncommon that prey or predators will wander here to drink. Now it's up to you to decide whether or not you'll take kindly to these uninvited visitors.
